Job summary

Acqhired in India is seeking a capable Software Tester / QA Engineer to join our growing tech team. You will break software, identify issues early, and help developers deliver reliable products.

You’ll work with developers, product owners and stakeholders across the SDLC, perform manual and exploratory testing, and develop automated tests using TypeScript, Python and Bash. The role emphasizes strong testing fundamentals, curiosity, and collaboration in a remote-friendly environment.

Job description

We are looking for a capable, analytical and curious Software Tester / QA Engineer to join our growing technology team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys breaking software, identifying problems before users do, and helping developers deliver reliable, high-quality products. You'll work closely with developers, product owners and technical stakeholders to ensure our applications are robust, secure and perform as expected.

You will be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, carrying out manual and exploratory testing, creating automated tests, investigating defects and helping improve our overall quality assurance processes.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working with code, development tools and command-line environments. Strong knowledge of TypeScript, Python and Bash is essential, together with an understanding of software testing methodologies and the defect management lifecycle.

Experience with Rust, C#, .NET, C++, or knowledge of ASP/ASP.NET or Java, would be advantageous but is not essential.
