Job summary

Qatar Airways is seeking a seasoned Software Test Engineer with 7+ years of experience in web and mobile automation. The role focuses on designing and maintaining automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications, building scalable automation frameworks, and integrating with CI/CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have strong SDLC/STLC knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and experience coordinating cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software web app testing or automation testing using Selenium, Playwright, Appium with Java, .NET, or Python.

• Ability to build an automation framework from scratch.
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API apps.
• Build and enhance reusable automation frameworks to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD-integrated automated test suites.
• Execute API testing and validate request/response data.
• Validate API responses using Postman/Swagger.
• Experience working in Database and validate data using queries.
• Mobile testing on Android and iOS devices using automation tools.

• Experience with Azure DevOps for Test Management.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects.
