Job summary

Qatar Airways in Ahmedabad is seeking a senior Talent Sourcing leader to shape and deliver global sourcing strategies as the company grows. You will build high-quality pipelines for specialist and leadership roles and support large-scale recruitment across international markets, including aviation and engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years in talent sourcing, recruitment research, executive search or talent acquisition.
• Experience sourcing specialist, niche or hard-to-fill talent.
• Experience leading sourcers or recruitment researchers in fast-paced, metrics-driven environments.
• People leadership across locations, cultures and time zones.
• Strong direct sourcing, talent mapping and passive engagement capabilities.
• Experience managing complex or high-volume recruitment projects.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to influence hiring decisions using market evidence.
• Experience in aviation, engineering, technology or international organisations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute sourcing strategies for specialist, leadership, operational and hard-to-fill positions.
• Build sustainable talent pipelines across India and international markets.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of 5-6 Talent Sourcers, ensuring high performance and engagement.
• Set team objectives, monitor KPIs and recruitment metrics, and drive delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Lead talent mapping, competitor research and market intelligence.
• Deliver sourcing projects for high-volume and business-critical campaigns.
• Engage passive candidates through personalised outreach.
• Advise stakeholders on talent availability, locations, risks and alternatives.
• Use data/analytics to measure pipeline quality, response rates and conversions.
• Manage relationships with agencies, research partners and suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to use technology, automation and AI responsibly in sourcing.

About your role

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver global talent sourcing strategies for Qatar Airways Group during a period of continued growth.

Based in Ahmedabad, you will lead sourcing activity across international markets, building high-quality talent pipelines for specialist, leadership and hard-to-fill roles. You will also support large-scale recruitment programmes for critical operational areas, including aviation, airport operations and engineering.

More than identifying candidates, you will act as a sourcing expert and trusted talent advisor. Through market intelligence, data, technology and targeted candidate engagement, you will help solve complex hiring challenges and influence sourcing decisions across the business

Your Responsibilities

• Design and execute sourcing strategies for specialist, leadership, operational and hard-to-fill positions.


• Build sustainable talent pipelines across India and international markets.


• Lead, coach and develop a team of 5-6 Talent Sourcers, ensuring high levels of performance, engagement and capability development.


• Set team objectives, monitor KPIs and recruitment metrics, and drive accountability for sourcing delivery, pipeline generation and stakeholder satisfaction.


• Lead talent mapping, competitor research and market-intelligence activity.


• Deliver sourcing projects for high-volume and business-critical recruitment campaigns.


• Engage passive candidates through personalised and compelling outreach.


• Advise stakeholders on talent availability, sourcing locations, market risks and alternative hiring approaches.


• Use sourcing data and analytics to measure pipeline quality, response rates and candidate conversion.


• Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, research partners and specialist suppliers.


• Identify opportunities to use technology, automation and AI responsibly within the sourcing process.

Knowldge,Skills and Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.


• Minimum 5 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruitment research, executive search or talent acquisition.


• Strong experience sourcing specialist, niche or hard-to-fill talent.


• Experience managing and developing a team of Talent Sourcers, Recruitment Researchers or Recruiters within a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.


• People leadership skills with the ability to motivate, engage and align teams across different locations, cultures and time zones.


• Proven capability in direct sourcing, talent mapping and passive candidate engagement.


• Experience delivering complex or high-volume recruitment projects.


• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.


• The confidence to use market evidence to influence and constructively challenge hiring decisions.


• Excellent written and spoken English.


• The ability to operate effectively across different countries, cultures and time zones.


• Experience within aviation, engineering, technology, shared services or another complex international organisation would be an added advantage.


• Previous experience coaching sourcers or leading sourcing projects is also preferred.
