Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of software testing experience with knowledge of SDLC.
Solid testing methodology and defect-tracking understanding.
Hands-on manual testing proficiency.
Experience with Jira for test management and defect tracking.
Familiarity with API testing using Postman/Swagger.
SQL and database testing experience.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end testing for assigned products/modules.
Design, develop, and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
Log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
Review requirements and acceptance criteria for testability.
Drive test automation efforts and improve coverage.
Participate in release planning and go/no-go decisions.
Continuously improve testing processes and standards.
Monitor production issues and assist with root cause analysis.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining testing strategies, mentoring junior team members, and working closely with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

Own end‑to‑end testing for assigned products/modules
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders
Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for testability
Drive test automation efforts and improve overall test coverage
Participate in release planning, risk assessment, and go‑no‑go decisions
Continuously improve testing processes, standards, and best practices
Monitor production issues and assist with root cause analysis

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in software testing
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and software development lifecycle
Hands‑on experience with manual testing
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
Good understanding of API testing (Postman, Swagger)
Familiarity with SQL and database testing
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
