Job summary

Codincity Digital Technologies is looking for a Manual Testing Engineer with strong experience in software quality assurance, test execution, defect management, and functional testing. The ideal candidate should have good analytical skills and the ability to work closely with development and business teams.

The role requires 3-8 years of Manual Software Testing experience, knowledge of SDLC/STLC, and hands-on testing across functional, regression, integration, system, and UI tests.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in Manual Software Testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Hands-on experience in test case creation and execution.
• Good understanding of defect life cycle and bug tracking tools.
• Experience with JIRA or Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing.

Responsibilities

• Understand business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Execute test cases and identify, document, and track defects.
• Perform defect retesting and regression testing after fixes.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Prepare test execution reports and maintain testing documentation.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide inputs from a testing perspective.
• Ensure software releases meet defined quality standards.
• Support UAT and production validation activities when required.
