Job summary

Embitel Technologies in Bengaluru, India seeks an experienced Automotive SW Testing engineer to join the verification team. You will work with HIL/SIL environments, and utilize CANoe/CAPEL tools, Python scripts, and Robot Framework to validate complex automotive software.

Strong knowledge of automotive networks (CAN/LIN/Ethernet) and Autosar compliance is valued. You will collaborate in a fast-paced Agile/SAFe setup, with Linux/UNIX/QNX based systems, and CI tools like GitHub/Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Strong Automotive SW testing experience is required.
• Experience with HIL/SIL based testing environments.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and Robot Framework.
• Strong knowledge of automotive networks CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• Familiarity with verification and simulation tools/environments.
• Experience with Autosar compliance is desirable.
• Knowledge of version control and CI tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, CodeBeamer).
• Understanding of SAFe or similar frameworks.
• Good understanding of Linux/UNIX/QNX.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• ISTQB or automotive certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform full system level testing across automotive software.

Job description

Strong Automotive SW testing experience from the APSICE level of SWE5 and SWE6.

Have experience in using HIL and SIL based testing environment (CANoe /CAPEL based tools etc.)

Strong working experience in Python Scripting and Robot framework.

Strong working experience on Automotive networks such as CAN, LIN and Ethernet

Proven experience & Deep understanding on the verification and Simulation tools and Environments.

Experience in Autosar compliance standard.

Experience with tools such as, GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins,CodeBeamer etc.

Working knowledge on SAFe or similar frameworks.

Good knowledge of full System Testing.

Shall have a good understanding of Linux / UNIX / QNX

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills, proactive and self-driven.

ISTQB or any other automotive related certification is desirable.
