Job summary

Nordex Group in Chennai is seeking a software test engineer to expand automated test systems, develop HiL-based interface tests, and ensure QA across software and hardware integrations.

The candidate will implement specifications, improve test processes, and produce comprehensive documentation. Strong Python skills are mandatory; knowledge of Groovy/Java and data analysis tools is a plus, with English fluency and 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Technology / Automation Technology.
• Strong Python programming skills (mandatory); knowledge of Groovy/Java and data analysis tools are a plus.
• Knowledge of test automation, test methods and design, secure SDLC, and knowledge of communication protocols, bus systems and electrical engineering.
• English (very good written and spoken).
• 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Expansion of automated test systems for regression testing to accelerate software release cycles.
• Development of the automated test system for software interface tests.
• Quality assurance through software testing with hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) setup.
• Implementation of software specifications in the automated test system.
