By playing a significant role in enabling the production of the next generation of microchips, our expertise enables our customers to transform possibilities into reality.

Your Opportunity

We are seeking a versatile senior software manager to develop cutting‑edge software solutions for new or existing products in the Inspection domain. Inspection provides the science, techniques, and precision devices that are used to determine if parts or features of a chip have any defective locations. Using the Inspection tool, chipmakers can achieve the required extreme inspection sensitivity, inspect more often, collect more data, accelerate yields, and lower the cost per wafer. The system combines industry‑leading speed with high resolution and advanced optics that capture more data per scan.

In this role, your duties will be to develop and deploy new products with the latest technology. Build a strong team with an Agile mindset and adopt quick changes according to the business need. Supervise software developers, analyze software performance and configuration systems, and manage the deployment and integration of new software. Hire new software developers. Work with technologies such as React, Redux, Java, Spring, Python, image processing, AI/ML, and MySQL with a monolith/SOA/microservice oriented architecture running on CPU/GPU. Evaluate and introduce new technology to improve performance, user experience, and developer experience.

• Ensure software quality and adherence to development standards.
• Operate effectively in a multi‑site, multi‑time‑zone environment.
• Maintain timely communication on significant issues or developments.
• Lead teams to support organizational initiatives and generic issues.
• Collaborate with end users and application engineering teams.
• Contribute significant technical guidance in a tech‑managerial role.
• Travel to onsite locations for business meetings, version installations, and software support as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (CE/EE background) with 8–12 years of industry experience.
• Minimum 10 years of software development experience, including new product development, bug fixing, maintenance, and continuous integration releases.
• 4+ years of experience with HLD & LLD, code reviews, and coding practices such as clean code and SOLID principles.
• 5–6 years of experience in technical road‑mapping, field interaction, cross‑functional teamwork, project leadership, and managing teams of 6–12 members.
• 3+ years of Python programming and libraries (e.g., NumPy, OpenCV, pandas).
• Proven experience deploying AI/ML solutions and integrating them into production‑grade software systems with GPU/CPU architectures.
• Knowledge of container and orchestration technologies such as Docker.
• ADVANTAGE: Experience in Java.
• ADVANTAGE: Strong fundamentals and hands‑on experience in C++/C programming for optimizing throughput.
• 1–2 years of people‑management experience.
• Strong experience working in global teams and handling multiple stakeholders.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and tool chains.
