Job summary

• 10+ years in Test & Measurement solutions in Automotive, Power Electronics and Aerospace/Defense.
• Proficiency in software automation and custom test routines for high power test equipment.
• Knowledge of programming languages for instrumentation control (MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, C++/C#).
• Experience in Large System Integration projects with project deliverables knowledge.
• Ability to travel >25% to customer sites for business meetings.

Software & System Solutions Manager | Tektronix | Test & Measurement | India

Location: New Delhi OR Bangalore

We are offering a unique opportunity in India to enable the development of custom software and system-level solutions for the ElektroAutomatik portfolio, while enabling the Sales team and supporting large solution opportunities across battery, renewable energy, automotive, and high-power test applications.

What You'll Do

• Develop System-level automation for high power test setups.
• Develop software using LabVIEW, Python, C#, MATLAB, or similar platforms to address customer needs in software not directly provided by EA Power Control. Might include datalogging, loading profiles, startup sequences, test sequences and reporting.
• Conceptualize system setups including EA Hardware, Software and third party tools to prepare system proposals and win system deals
• Integrate instruments to enable them work together with customer setups using CAN, Modbus, SCPI, Ethernet, and other communication protocols.
• Support system integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer demonstrations.
• Enable system integrator capabilities with mentorship on software and solutions to SI engineers
• Develop libraries for customer test cases in India to be used in system integration.

What We're Looking For

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics Engineering or similar field with an experience of 10 + years in Test & Measurement solutions in Automotive, Power Electronics and Aerospace/Defense
• Proficiency in developing software automation and custom test routines for High power test and measurement equipment such Bidirectional power supplies and Battery Testers
• Knowledge & experience of programming languages for instrumentation control and complete solution (i. e. Matlab, LabVIEW, Python, C++/C#)
• Experience of Large System Integration projects with knowledge of project level documentation such as Acceptance Test Procedures, State of Work, Project Deliverables etc
• Ability to develop and nurture System Integrators and pitch system level proposals to customers
• Ability to travel >25% of time to customer sites for business meetings
