Job summary

Tektronix in Bangalore, India, seeks an Engineering Program Manager to drive cross-functional, lean product delivery within our PMO. You will coordinate with product marketing, hardware and software engineering, and finance to release new products on time while maintaining quality and scope.

The role demands 3–5 years of PM experience, strong communication, and a passion for agile methods. You will partner with vendors and internal teams to optimize development cycles and deliver customer

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Project/Program Management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other engineering degree.
• Experience with managing scope, schedule, budget and quality of projects
• Experience in new product development
• Excellent verbal and written communications

Responsibilities

• Own and manage engineering programs to ensure on time release of products
• Manage and influence stakeholders, including: business, product, and development team members on solution delivery and scope
• Manage a project budget with target & actuals
• Leverage Ralliant Business System tools to implement visual and daily management and appropriate standard work
• Drive improvements in the product development processes to increase product quality, program cycle time, and development costs
• Source issues, problems and ideas from developers, as well as corral teams to come up with solutions for problems
• Ensure development programs have robust plans and resource alignment for execution
• Implement and improve Agile development processes and tools into existing programs/processes
• Escalate resource conflicts and drive to resolution with engineering leadership
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and partner with vendors as required by the program
