Job summary

Emerson is seeking a software sales engineer in India to identify opportunities, understand customer needs, and present technical solutions. You will deliver live demonstrations and support the sales process with account teams, building relationships and maintaining pipeline in CRM.

The role requires 1–2 years of technical experience, a relevant engineering degree, proficiency in English, and comfort with learning new technologies such as LabVIEW, Python, and C#.

• Knowledge of tools such as NI LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C#, or similar technologies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Customer-facing, applications engineering, pre-sales, or sales experience.
• Experience with Test & Measurement or automated testing.
• German language skills strong advantage.
• Previous sales experience is an advantage but not required.
