Job summary

Alpha Design Technologies is seeking a senior software project lead to manage the SDLC for flight simulator projects. You will coordinate with customers, system engineers, visual system teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution and delivery.

The role includes mentoring software engineers, conducting technical reviews, and driving process improvements while maintaining high system availability and customer satisfaction throughout the simulator lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the software development lifecycle for flight simulator projects, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, release, and maintenance activities.
• Plan and allocate resources, monitor project schedules, manage risks, and ensure compliance with quality, configuration management, and verification & validation processes.
• Coordinate with customers, system engineers, visual system teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
• Conduct technical reviews, mentor software engineers, drive process improvements, and oversee software documentation.
• Provide site support for simulator installation, integration, troubleshooting, upgrades, customer acceptance testing, and issue resolution, ensuring high system availability and customer satisfaction throughout the simulator lifecycle.
