Job summary

Idexcel is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Flight Management System (FMS) team in India. The role demands strong avionics software development experience, hands-on FMS expertise, and safety-critical software work in a DevOps environment.

You will own product quality, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive optimization and DO-178B/C compliant design, development, integration, and verification across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace, Electronics, Computer Science, or related engineering.
• Experience in Flight Management System (FMS) software development.
• Avionics software development experience (6-8 years).
• Knowledge of DO-178B/C and software design, development, integration, verification.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and verify safety-critical FMS software.
• Work in a DevOps environment, contributing to CI/CD and continuous improvement.
• Own product quality and ensure DO-178B/C compliance.
• Collaborate with Systems, Certification, and cross-functional teams.
