Qualifications

Experience with REST APIs, databases, and web servers; familiarity with Teamcenter and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance SimManager workflows, GUIs, dashboards, and business processes.
Analyze requirements and prepare technical solutions; perform coding, testing and debugging.
Develop integrations with Teamcenter, HPC, cloud platforms, and other engineering apps.
Support CAE domains and ensure reliable operation across CAE areas; document designs and tests.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for planning, estimation and release activities.

Role Summary

The SimManager Developer will be responsible for developing, enhancing, supporting, and maintaining Mahindra's Simulation Process & Data Management (SPDM) platform. The role involves implementing CAE process automation, configuring SimManager modules, supporting business users, integrating engineering applications, and ensuring reliable operation of the platform across multiple CAE domains. The platform supports simulation data management, job submission, DVP management, simulation generator, knowledge management, dashboards, HPC integration, and cloud connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

Develop and enhance SimManager workflows, GUIs, dashboards, and business processes.
Analyse business requirements and prepare technical solutions.
Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and support activities.
Develop custom integrations with Teamcenter, HPC, cloud platforms, and engineering applications.
Simulation Generator and Work Request Module development.
Build automation solutions to improve engineering productivity.

Business Support

Work closely with CAE domains such as Crash, Durability, CFD, NVH, Powertrain, and Safety teams.
Demonstrate new functionality and obtain user acceptance.
Provide functional and technical support to end users.
Analyse recurring issues and implement permanent corrective actions.

Quality & Governance

Prepare design specifications, functional specifications, and test documents.
Conduct code reviews and ensure development standards compliance.
Maintain documentation and technical knowledge repositories.
Support audit, compliance, and cybersecurity requirements.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with software vendors for new solutions, enhancements, and critical issue resolution.
Interact with infrastructure, cloud, database, and security teams.
Participate in project planning, estimation, and release activities.
