A leading innovation firm in UAVs is seeking a Software Firmware Engineer for its Navi Mumbai facility. In this full-time role, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for software development, design, and debugging for unmanned aerial vehicles. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Aeronautics/Firmware Engineering and has at least 2 years of experience. Skills in C/C++, embedded systems, and various communication protocols are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Firmware Integration and Testing.
• Experience in C, C++.
• Experience in Linux based systems.
• Familiar with Mission Planner, QGCS and other ground control software.
• Knowledge about Communication protocols like I2C, SPI, CAN and UART.

Responsibilities

• Modifications in Ardupilot code and adding custom modes.
• Create and maintain mathematical models and simulations for accurate performance predictions.
• Handling and troubleshooting errors in Autopilot.
• Test VTOL models in SITL and HITL environments.
• Build HITL Test bench setup for Motor, Servos and other Firmware subsystems testing.

This is a full‑time on‑site role as a Software Firmware Engineer located in Navi Mumbai. The Software Firmware Engineer will be responsible for software development, software design, embedded software, debugging, and firmware tasks related to UAVs and Aerial Mobility operations.
