Job summary

Ecolab in Bengaluru, India invites an experienced Software Engineering Manager II to lead the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform within the Enterprise AI team. You will guide the technical team, design solutions, estimate delivery, and ensure alignment with business goals and Microsoft/D365 best practices.

You will own engineering quality, manage D365 developers and QA/DevOps, partner with architects, and drive integrations with Azure, ERPs, and Power Platform to deliver scalable CRM capabilities

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience.
• 6+ years in MS Dynamics 365 implementation & support; proficient in C#, .NET, and JavaScript.
• Strong Web API development and plugins experience.
• Experience with integration technologies including SQL Server and KingswaySoft.
• Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps, Visual Studio and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MS Dynamics CRM technical team and deliver platform extensions.
• Collaborate with business groups to define functional requirements and technical solutions.
• Set technical direction and ensure Microsoft/D365 best practices.
• Oversee D365 and Azure integrations with ERPs and data platforms.
• Manage team performance, hiring, mentoring, and delivery against roadmap.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies (PI Planning, Sprint Planning, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives).

Software Engineering Manager II - Microsoft Dynamics 365

Ecolab provides an exciting opportunity to join our Enterprise AI team as Software Engineering Manager.This role will focus on digital technologies & platforms to enable & support our Enterprise CRM globally. The Software Engineering Manager will be a key member to lead the technical team, with a focus on extending platforms to meet business requirements & collaborating with internal & external developer partners to ensure optimal solution development.

This position is based out of our Bengaluru, India office

• Should be able to oversee integrations between D365 and Azure, ERPs, Downstream and Upstream systems, Power Platform and Data platforms.

• Participate in the Scrum process as a developer, with activities including Program Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, Estimating, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Demos and Sprint retrospectives.

Minimal Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience working in an IT environment
• 6+ years' strong experience in MS Dynamics 365 implementation & support; extensive experience in programming languages: C#, .NET, JavaScript
• Strong experience in Web API development and plug in's
• Strong experience in integration technologies including SQL Server & KingswaySoft to connect internal & third-party systems
• String experience using Microsoft Azure Dev Ops, MS Visual Studio and MS SQL server

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or related area
• Experience with Power BI, SQL Server Integration Services, ASP.net, client-side JavaScript frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience of working in a methodical and structured manner
• Excellent communication skills: presentation, written, and oral
• Strong interpersonal skills to successfully team with software vendors, outsourcing partners and internal business and IT associates
• Must be able to perform as an effective member in a team-oriented environment, maintain a positive attitude, and achieve desired results while working with minimal supervision
• Enthusiasm for learning new skills and technologies, and passion for conveying knowledge
• Excellent organization skills
