Job summary

Addepar, a global data and AI platform, is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Alternatives Data Management (ADM) team in Pune. You will guide a full-stack group, collaborate with Product and Design, and deliver client-facing features that differentiate Addepar.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in software engineering and 2+ years of people management, with strong Python or Java skills and AWS experience. This role requires hybrid work from our Pune office 3 days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of managing software engineering teams.
• Full-stack, product engineering experience a plus.
• React experience a plus.
• Strong experience with Python OR Java; AWS experience preferred.

• Own technical design and implementation for projects to set a good example for the ICs.
• Work with platform teams to deliver features with consistent capabilities.

The Role

We are currently seeking a software engineering manager to join the Alternatives Data Management (ADM) team. Our team is building AI-powered data products and workflow solutions that unlock transparency, efficiency, and insight in private market investments. You'll lead a full-stack team of engineers and collaborate closely with Product and Design to deliver client-facing features that will set us apart from our competitors.

Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country where this role is based on the first day of employment. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Important Note: This role requires working from our Pune office 3 days a week (hybrid work model)
