Job summary

KNAB FINANCE is looking for a backend engineer to build APIs and serverless functions using TypeScript and Node.js in Delhi. You’ll write MySQL queries, work with DB schemas, and occasionally touch the frontend with Next.js.

Expect to integrate with fintech APIs, write unit tests, and learn how a real fintech startup scales backend systems. Portfolio and a quick learner mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• A GitHub portfolio or link to 1-2 projects you've worked on.
• Eagerness to learn fast and build real features.
• Willingness to take ownership and debug like a detective.

Responsibilities

• Build APIs and serverless functions using TypeScript + Node.js.
• Write MySQL queries and understand DB schema design.
• Occasionally contribute to the frontend in Next.js.
• Integrate with third-party fintech APIs (Razorpay, MF, shares, etc.).
• Write unit tests for critical modules.

Job description

Some experience with TypeScript (even a personal project)

Ability to write basic SQL queries (select, insert, joins, etc.)

Familiarity with REST APIs and HTTP basics

Bonus: experience with Next.js, Jest or any AWS services

What You'll Work On

Building APIs and serverless functions using TypeScript + Node.js

Writing MySQL queries and understanding DB schema design

Occasionally contributing to the frontend in Next.js
