Job summary

Narixlabs is hiring a junior backend engineer to work on real services—APIs, jobs, and integrations—through well-scoped tickets with senior review on every pull request. You will contribute to production systems, learn, and ship with supervision built in.

Expect a clear growth path: within a year you should be shipping production features, debugging live issues with guidance, and understanding what good looks like by working beside it.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years of backend experience with Node.js/TypeScript.
• Fundamentals: HTTP, databases, async, and error handling.
• Real project work: deployed API or project beyond tutorials.
• Open to direct code review and applying feedback quickly.
• Good written English for async communication.

• Deliver scoped backend features in NestJS/TypeScript with senior review on everything.
• Write tests alongside your code and keep them green.
• Work with PostgreSQL: queries, migrations, and understanding the schema before changing it.
• Investigate bugs methodically and write up findings; the write-up matters as much as the fix.
• Grow on a deliberate path set by the company and reviewed openly.

• Fundamentals you can explain: HTTP, databases, async, and what happens when requests fail
• Something real we can look at — a deployed API, a contribution, a project beyond a tutorial
• Receptive to direct code review and quick to apply it
• Good written English — async-first means writing is how you'll work
