Job summary

Moody's Investors Service is seeking a skilled software engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable applications across SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and the modern web. You will build and customize SharePoint Framework solutions using React, TS, and REST services, and develop Teams tabs, bots, and AI-powered features.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing solutions on SharePoint and the M365 platform with Node.js and TypeScript
• Strong experience with SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (1.24+), and modern customization patterns
• Proficiency with React 18, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Fluent UI, and REST APIs
• Experience building MS Teams applications using the M365 Agents Toolkit, Teams SDK, Bot Framework, Teams AI Library, and Adaptive Cards
• Experience with Microsoft Graph, PowerShell, C# and .NET, SQL, data modeling, Entra ID authentication, and integration technologies
• Experience with CI/CD, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, Git, automated testing, secure software development practices
• Understanding of SharePoint security, permissions, sensitivity labels, DLP, retention, governance, compliance controls
• Understanding of AI technologies and commitment to AI-enabled DevOps and responsible AI use

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, content types, custom web parts, extensions, forms, navigation customizers, and command-set actions
• Build responsive and accessible SharePoint Framework solutions using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Fluent UI, Microsoft Graph, REST services, and Microsoft Entra ID authentication
• Design and deliver Microsoft Teams tabs, bots, message extensions, and meeting applications, including AI-powered and LLM experiences
• Develop SharePoint Copilot applications, Microsoft Graph connectors, plugins, and custom or declarative agents that surface enterprise data in Microsoft 365 Copilot
• Automate the management and reporting of SharePoint sites, permissions, libraries, Teams channels, membership, and policies using Microsoft Graph and PowerShell
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated tests, code reviews, and repeatable deployment processes
• Apply security, permissions, sensitivity labels, DLP, retention, governance, and secure-coding practices across development, sandbox, and production environments
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications, integrate Microsoft 365 with third-party systems, support Power Automate solutions, and resolve complex technical issues

Skills and Competencies

• 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience developing solutions on SharePoint and the M365 platform along with experience with Node.js and TypeScript in production environments
• Strong experience with SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (1.24 or later), SharePoint architecture, and modern customization patterns
• Proficiency with React 18, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Fluent UI, and REST application programming interfaces
• Experience building MS Teams applications using the M365 Agents Toolkit, Teams software development kit, Bot Framework, Teams AI Library, and Adaptive Cards
• Experience with Microsoft Graph, PowerShell, C# and .NET, structured query language, data modeling, Microsoft Entra ID authentication, and integration technologies
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, Git source control, automated testing, and secure software development practices
• Understanding of SharePoint security, permissions, sensitivity labels, data loss prevention, retention, governance, and compliance controls
• Demonstrated understanding of AI technologies and a commitment to leveraging AI tools to enhance DevOps efficiency and operational excellence along with growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Microsoft 365 Certified Teams Application Developer, AB-900 Copilot and Agent Administration Fundamentals, PL-900 Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals, or AZ-400 Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions certification is preferred
