About The Role
G19 Studio is a consulting and product studio delivering technology solutions across a range of industries, supported by an India-based delivery arm. Signal Labs is a strategic delivery partner building a core enterprise insights platform designed to be domain‑agnostic, serving clients across multiple industries and use cases rather than a single vertical. We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to design, build, and maintain the collaboration, content management, and information architecture layer that underpins this platform, ensuring it can flex across different client environments, data structures, and reporting needs without being tied to any one industry's specific workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server solutions, including sites, document libraries, lists, workflows, and content types that are configurable across multiple industries and client environments.
- Build and maintain SPFx (SharePoint Framework) web parts, extensions, and Power Platform integrations (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) to support the platform's insights, reporting, and dashboarding capabilities.
- Design flexible, metadata‑driven information architecture that allows the platform to be reconfigured for new client verticals without structural rework.
- Integrate SharePoint with the broader enterprise insights platform and third‑party systems (CRM, data warehouses, BI tools) using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, and Power Automate connectors.
- Migrate and consolidate legacy document repositories and file shares into SharePoint Online as part of client onboarding, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with product and delivery teams (onshore and offshore) to translate cross‑industry client requirements into reusable technical designs and configuration patterns.
- Support governance, security reviews, and vulnerability assessments (VAPT) for SharePoint environments in line with client and platform compliance obligations.
- Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to client administrators and internal delivery teams.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands‑on SharePoint development experience, including at least 1 year with SharePoint Online and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Strong proficiency in SPFx, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and PnPjs, along with REST APIs and Microsoft Graph.
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) for workflow automation and reporting.
- Solid understanding of SharePoint information architecture, permissions and security models, metadata design, and records management, with an ability to design for configurability across different business contexts.
- Demonstrated experience delivering SharePoint or platform solutions across multiple industries or client types, rather than deep specialization in a single vertical.
- Experience with SharePoint migrations (on‑premises to online, or legacy file shares to SharePoint) using tools such as ShareGate or Microsoft Migration Manager.
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, conditional access, and identity and access management concepts as they apply to SharePoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work directly with US‑based clients and distributed delivery teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience contributing to a multi‑tenant or configurable SaaS‑style platform, where the same core solution is adapted for different client verticals.
- Exposure to general enterprise data and security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) rather than industry‑specific regulatory regimes.
- Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate, or SharePoint‑specific certifications.
- Experience in a consulting or client services environment, managing multiple concurrent engagements across different industries.
Platform Context
This role sits within the Signal Labs engagement, contributing to a core platform built to deliver enterprise insights regardless of industry. Candidates should be comfortable designing for reusability and configurability rather than optimizing for one sector's specific workflows, and should enjoy working across varied client contexts as the platform expands into new markets and use cases.
