Job summary

Worldpay, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the TRANSAXpay Payments team. You will develop new functionality, perform regression tests, and help modernize systems as we migrate to cloud-hosted services.

As a Team Leader/Manager, you will coach and support other team members globally. The role requires 6–10 years in technical leadership, strong C/C++/DDL/SQL skills, and knowledge of IP networking, PCI/EMI standards, and security tools.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience as a Technical Lead or Manager.
• Proficiency in C, C++, DDL, SQL and basic IP networking.
• Strong ability to translate requirements into structured, bug-free code.
• Clear communication skills to collaborate with global teams.
• Mentor junior team members through designs and code reviews.
• Interest in Global Payments’ products and continuous learning.
• Knowledge of PCI standards, EMV and UKCA (APACS).
• Security scans and tools such as Snyk/Checkmarx.

What you’ll own

• Development of new functionality in our core TRANSAXpay payments processing platform.
• Regression testing of systems to ensure new features do not affect existing functionality.
• Modernization efforts as we migrate from data-center-hosted to cloud-hosted services.

What you’ll bring

• Knowledge of the Payment Card Industry, specifically with EMV and UKCA (APACS) standards.
