Job description

The Quality Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products and services developed by the company. They will work closely with the engineering team, product designers, and product managers to identify and resolve quality issues, as well as design and execute testing strategies and plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the highest levels of software quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.
• Conduct manual testing, especially for edge cases or exploratory testing.
• Identify and report defects and track them through to resolution.
• Work closely with the product team to understand and verify product requirements and ensure that they are being met.
• Continuously improve the automation framework and ensure that it is up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure that code is testable and that automation is built into the development process.

Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on both manual and automation testing.
• Proficient in using test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or TestNG.
• Ability to design and execute test cases, understand the requirements and acceptance criteria, and generate test data as needed.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools like GITLab, Azure DevOps.
