ABV | Bengaluru | Full-time, in person
ABV works across investing, business building and technology-led execution. We strengthen products, modernise systems and improve operations to drive growth.
Our work spans commercial opportunities and government and enterprise needs, combining research, operational improvement and hands-on implementation. This scope also includes improving and scaling technology businesses following acquisition: strengthening products, integrating systems and building the operational foundations for growth.
We’re hiring a Software Engineer, Products & Solutions to build and deliver the technology behind these initiatives.
You’ll translate business requirements into working software, make practical technical decisions and take clearly scoped projects or components through development, testing, deployment and ongoing improvement. The role combines product thinking with hands-on engineering and responsibility for delivery.
The scope includes enterprise applications, AI-assisted workspaces, automation and software supporting public-sector and utility operations. Some projects will involve building new products; others will require integrating systems and delivering against client requirements.
We believe the right engineers, equipped with strong AI fluency and sound judgment, can become 10x builders. We’re looking for people who turn that potential into working software: using AI to learn unfamiliar systems, test ideas, automate repetitive work and ship faster without compromising quality. You don’t need years of experience to demonstrate this, but you do need to show what you have built. AI will be central to how you work, even when the product itself is not an AI application.
Recent graduates and early-career engineers are welcome. A computer science or related degree is useful, but equivalent practical experience is welcome. You do not need prior experience in every area of the role.
Familiarity with electricity utilities, public-sector systems or other regulated environments is a plus, not a requirement.
You care about whether software solves the user’s problem, not just whether the code runs.
We value high agency: taking initiative, proposing next steps, raising blockers early and seeing work through. You should be comfortable using AI extensively while retaining the judgment to question its output, verify results and recognise when specialist input is needed.
You’ll take responsibility for clearly defined deliverables, with room to own larger projects as you demonstrate sound judgment and reliable execution. The scope of responsibility will reflect your experience and the requirements of each project.
