Job summary

Virallens, Bengaluru-based, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and deploy modern AI-powered web applications. You will contribute across frontend and backend, architect scalable services, and integrate AI capabilities with a focus on reliability and performance.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, AI, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, production-ready software across multi-tenant SaaS platforms and enterprise integrations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional Full Stack development experience.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Experience building and maintaining production web applications.
• Strong understanding of React architecture, rendering, and state management.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js App Router, Server Components, Server Actions, and API Routes.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs (GraphQL is a plus).
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Supabase, MongoDB, or similar databases.
• Experience deploying applications on AWS, Vercel, or similar cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and code reviews.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and application security.
• Ability to independently own features from requirements to production.

About The Role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll design, build, and ship modern web applications powered by AI.

You’ll work across the complete product lifecycle – from building intuitive frontend experiences to architecting scalable backend services, designing APIs, integrating AI capabilities, and deploying reliable production systems.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working across the entire stack while collaborating closely with Product, Design, AI, and Engineering teams.

What You’ll Do

Full Stack Development

• Build, test, and deploy production-ready features across frontend and backend.
• Own features from technical design through deployment and continuous improvement.
• Translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Balance speed, quality, security, and maintainability.

Frontend Engineering

• Build responsive applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Develop reusable and accessible UI components.
• Optimize application performance, rendering, and user experience.
• Implement dashboards, workflows, forms, and real-time interfaces.

Backend Development

• Design and develop scalable REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Build secure authentication and authorization systems.
• Develop background jobs, queues, webhooks, and event-driven workflows.
• Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise platforms.

AI & LLM Integration

• Build AI-powered features using Large Language Models.
• Implement RAG pipelines, vector search, and AI workflows.
• Develop prompt engineering, structured outputs, and tool-calling capabilities.
• Improve AI reliability through monitoring, guardrails, and fallback mechanisms.

Data & Architecture

• Design scalable database schemas using PostgreSQL, Supabase, and MongoDB.
• Build secure multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
• Optimize database performance, indexing, and caching.
• Contribute to architecture decisions for scalability and reliability.

Real-Time Systems

• Develop real-time applications using WebSockets or similar technologies.
• Build live dashboards, notifications, and collaborative workflows.
• Handle retries, rate limiting, idempotency, and monitoring.

Engineering Excellence

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot production issues.
• Improve engineering standards, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and AI teams to deliver impactful solutions.
