Job summary

ZEISS India is looking for Production Quality Technicians to inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure quality. You will perform tests using calipers, micrometers, and spectral property assessments to verify specifications, while monitoring processes for deviations and taking corrective actions.

You will document results and ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained, collaborating with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement CAPA.

Qualifications

• Education – Any Graduate
• Experience – 3+ years

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform tests using measurement tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, cosmetic quality and spectral properties) to verify specifications.
• Monitor production processes to identify deviations, defects or non-conformances and take corrective actions as needed.
• Document inspection results, test data and quality issues in detailed reports for management review.
• Ensure all testing and inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained for accurate results.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement CAPA (corrective and preventive actions).
• Analyze quality data and trends to identify recurring problems and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain focus on safety and quality protocols on the production floor.
• Contribute to reducing defects and improving overall operational efficiency through continuous improvement.

• Production Quality Technicians analyze quality data and trends to identify recurring problems and recommend process improvements.
