Job summary

TekWissen India in Chennai is seeking a Software Engineer (IV) - Premium Engineer II to manage SAP S/4 installations, upgrades, patches and system copies in a hybrid work model (4 days in office). You will partner with SAP ECS teams and vendors to ensure high performance and availability of SAP systems.

The role requires 4+ years IT experience with SAP BASIS & HANA, a Bachelor's degree, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA and SAP Basis in enterprise environments.
• 4+ years in IT; 3+ years in SAP BASIS & HANA support.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform SAP S/4 installations, upgrades, patches, and system copies with Cloud Platform/Basis tasks.
• Tune S/4 systems for optimal performance with SAP vendors/partners.
• Support N and N+1 landscapes on SAP RISE / GCP platforms.
• Collaborate with other product teams to meet KPIs/SLAs.
• Develop, implement, and execute SAP BASIS / HANA DB policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance to the project and development teams during build, test and productive operation.
• Setup and configuration of Solution Manager Dashboards to monitor SAP systems.
• Support Cloud initiatives (eg. GCP) to migrate existing On-prem SAP solutions.

• Engineer II Exp.: Proficient in 1 coding language or framework.
• 4+ years in IT; 3+ years in development

Experience Preferred

• Handled ECS cusotmers

• Bachelor's Degree

• Our preferred requirements: Experience in working with SAP ECS Experience with SAP BTP (IS, SAC, Data Spere, IAS, IAG) , SAP GRC
• Ability to create Transport Domain Controller and administer the Transport Management System
• Experience in using Solution Manager ChaRM and CALM
• Experience with System/Technical monitoring using Solution Manager
• Problem solving and debugging skills
• Effective team player working with Onsite and Offshore teams
