Job summary

MRI Software seeks a skilled Delphi Developer to design, build, and maintain Windows desktop applications using Delphi and VCL components. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in Delphi, experience with legacy Delphi maintenance, and strong communication skills to interact with clients and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional Delphi/Object Pascal development experience.
• Strong expertise with Delphi 7, Delphi XE and later versions.
• Solid Windows desktop application development experience using VCL.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, SQLite, and relational DB design.
• Strong SQL programming skills including queries, stored procedures, and performance optimisation.
• Experience with Windows APIs and OS-level integrations.
• Knowledge of SMTP protocol implementation.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing legacy Delphi applications.
• Hands-on experience with third-party Delphi components and libraries.
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience using Jira or similar project management tools.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Delphi Developer with hands‑on experience in developing and maintaining Windows desktop applications using Delphi (Object Pascal). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in VCL‑based application development, database integration, Windows APIs, and legacy application maintenance. Experience with .NET technologies will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Windows desktop applications using Delphi (Object Pascal).
• Develop user-friendly and high-performance applications utilizing VCL components.
• Integrate and manage databases such as MS SQL Server, SQLite, and other Delphi-supported databases.
• Write and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and database operations.
• Utilise Windows APIs to implement system-level functionality and application enhancements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing Delphi applications.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
