Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Delphi developer with 4–7 years of experience to develop and maintain healthcare domain solutions. The role involves Delphi v10–v12, PL/SQL objects, and interop with C# .NET and C++ DLLs, with UI built on DevExpress.

You will join a collaborative team, contribute to CI/CD with Azure Pipelines, and ensure performance and security of Oracle databases while communicating with clients.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of Delphi development experience.
• Experience with Delphi v10/v11/v12.
• Proficient in PL/SQL to design and maintain database objects.
• Experience integrating managed (C# .NET) and unmanaged (C++, Delphi DLLs) code.
• Familiar with DevExpress UI components.
• Strong debugging and optimization of Oracle SQL queries.
• Experience with Git (Bitbucket), CI/CD in Azure Pipelines, Jira.
• Collaborative, with strong communication and agile team work.

Responsibilities

• Delphi development experience in Windows platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Delphi v10 / v11/ v12.
• Design, develop, and maintain database objects like queries, packages, procedures using PLSQL.
• Develop rich UI using DevExpress components.
• Develop and optimize database interactions with Oracle.
• Upgrade and migration projects experience shall be a big plus.
• Good understanding of object oriented software design and programming techniques.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies.
• Good to have exp on .net as secondary skill.
• Hands on exp on oracle DB
• Understanding of Agile scrum principles and Jira
• Strong communications skills, should be able to communicate with clients.

Job description

Development and implementation of targeted ecosystems and technology solutions in healthcare domain.

Requirements

4 to 7 years of experience in Delphi development
Design, develop, and maintain applications using Delphi v10 / Delphi v11/ Delphi v12
Design, develop, and maintain database objects like queries, packages, procedures using PLSQL
Integrate and interact with managed code (C# .Net)
Integrate and interact with unmanaged code (C++, Delphi DLLs) and COM components
Develop rich UI using DevExpress components
Develop and optimize database interactions with Oracle
Troubleshoot complex issues involving interop between managed and unmanaged code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Maintain high code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices
Manage source code through Git (Bitbucket repository)
Participate in CI/CD processes using Azure Pipelines
Ensure performance, scalability, and security of applications
Strong experience working with Oracle databases
Ability to write optimized SQL queries
Ability to analyse the performance of the queries
Expertise in Creating and Debugging Oracle Packages, Procedures etc
