Insight is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Java/Kotlin) with a focus on data migration. You will build a tool to migrate millions of records from SaaS and PHP sources into a Java/MongoDB product, owning the design through validation and ensuring data is complete, accurate, and business-ready.

Responsibilities include efficient ELT, validation, data alignment with the target system, and addressing migration risks.

• 6+ years of backend development experience using Java and/or Kotlin.
• Experience with SQL, MongoDB, ORM/ODM concepts, and large-volume data processing.
• Experience with background jobs and batch processing using Spring Batch or a BPMN engine, including failure recovery.
• Knowledge of migration mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, integrity checks, and AI code-generation tools.

About The Role

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of backend development experience using Java and/or Kotlin, with Spring Boot and/or Quarkus.
• Experience with SQL, MongoDB, ORM/ODM concepts, and large-volume data processing.
• Experience with background jobs and batch processing using Spring Batch or a BPMN engine, including failure recovery.
• Knowledge of migration mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, integrity checks, and AI code-generation tools.
