R1 RCM India is seeking a Lead Data Engineer with 7-10 years of experience to join our Data Platform team. You will design, build, and optimize our centralized data warehouse for ETL, reporting and analytics across the organization.

The role requires deep expertise in Python/Scala, PySpark, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake and Spark SQL, with a track record delivering large-scale data products and collaborating with agile teams in a healthcare-focused technology environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in data engineering and analytics.
• Strong programming in Python/Scala with PySpark expertise.
• Experience building ETL pipelines and data warehouses.
• Hands-on with Azure Databricks and Delta Lake.
• Experience with Spark SQL and data visualization dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions.
• Build robust data pipelines and scalable data products for analytics across applications.
• Develop Databricks dashboards and perform data analysis to address business problems.
