Translate business requirements into functional designs, drive end-to-end delivery, provide production support, and collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure accurate billing and pricing across regions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years on SAP Billing and Pricing, including AFS and S/4HANA.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Deep expertise in Billing and Pricing within AFS and S/4HANA.
• Experience with end-to-end O2C processes and FI/AP integration.
• Experience writing Functional Design documents.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and end-to-end delivery.

About the Role

This role is a key contributor within Finance Technology, responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Billing and Pricing capabilities in S/4HANA and AFS environments. It reports to the Manager, Software Engineering / Capability Lead and sits within the India Technology Centre, supporting global Order-to-Cash and Finance functions. The role requires close collaboration with business and technology teams to ensure accurate billing, pricing, and financial integration processes across global operations. The analyst will engage with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions and support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SAP Billing and Pricing solutions supporting global O2C operations.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional designs and implementation plans, ensuring alignment with standard SAP capabilities.
• Identify gaps in standard SAP processes and design scalable solutions, exploring all possible out-of-the-box options before customisation.
• Develop Functional Design documents (FDs) and drive configuration and build, testing and validation, and deployment and user sign-off.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement enhancements, interfaces, and output solutions.
• Provide production support, including root cause analysis, incident resolution, and support for time-sensitive billing processes.
• Participate in testing cycles including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT, ensuring solution quality and business readiness.
• Drive solution design, validate business requirements, identify system gaps, and implement scalable solutions while ensuring alignment with standard SAP capabilities.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes and support continuous improvement.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Experienced and hands-on SAP professional.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in SAP Billing and Pricing, including AFS and S/4HANA.
• Deep expertise in Billing and Pricing within AFS and S/4HANA environments.
• Strong functional knowledge in Billing and Pricing.
• Strong exposure to the overall Order-to-Accounting document posting process.
• Proven experience in solution design, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end delivery.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes.
• Deep expertise in Billing and Pricing integration with Accounting (FI) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Experience with output design and framework, complex pricing setup, G/L determination, and integrating invoices with EDI partners.
• Exposure to integration with Tax, e-invoicing, and external tax engines.
• Proven experience identifying system gaps and designing effective solutions.
• Proven experience evaluating out-of-the-box versus custom solutions.
• Proven experience writing Functional Design (FD) documents.
• Proven experience driving design through build, testing, and user sign-off.
