emagine is seeking a Software Engineer HMI Applications to own the Android software development lifecycle for automotive projects. You will build Android HMI features in JAVA/Kotlin, focusing on system and user applications and collaborating with a team to ensure high quality deliverables.

The role requires 2-3 years of Android automotive experience and 5-8 years in software development, with strong Android architecture knowledge and proficiency in Figma for HMI prototyping.

• Full Software development life cycle of Android projects in JAVA/Kotlin.
• Development of Android HMI for system and user applications.
• Support junior developers and assist in problem-solving.
• Utilization of continuous build systems using Jenkins and Linux tools.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science.
• 2-3 years of experience in Automotive Software Development on Android (AOSP/AAOS) in JAVA/Kotlin.
• 5 to 8 years of overall experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of Android architecture, framework, and application development.
• Proficient in HMI wireframing/prototyping using Figma.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with A-SPICE.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
