IQ-EQ in Hyderabad, India seeks a Microsoft Fabric Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric. You will work on data pipelines, Dataflow Gen2, Lakehouse architectures, and end-to-end ETL/ELT workflows to support analytics and reporting.

The role involves building PySpark notebooks, complex SQL queries, and data modeling (Star/Snowflake). Emphasis on data quality, governance, and CI/CD practices to ensure scalable, compliant solutions.

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Fabric Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, PySpark, SQL, data modeling, and CI/CD practices to deliver scalable, high-quality data solutions that support analytics and business reporting needs.

What You'll Do

• You'll design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions in Microsoft Fabric, including Data Pipelines, Dataflow Gen2, Lakehouse architectures, and end-to-end ETL/ELT workflows.
• You'll build and maintain PySpark notebooks to perform data ingestion, transformation, cleansing, enrichment, aggregation, and performance optimization.
• You'll develop and support data warehouse solutions using Fabric Warehouse and SQL Endpoints, creating complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and incremental data-loading processes.
• You'll design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models, including Star and Snowflake schemas, Fact and Dimension tables, and semantic models for Power BI reporting.
• You'll ensure data quality and operational excellence through validation frameworks, monitoring, troubleshooting, Git-based source control, CI/CD deployments, and adherence to governance, security, and compliance standards.
