Job summary

HARMAN is seeking a Software Engineer - Embedded Software in Bengaluru to design and implement IOC/vehicle software for infotainment systems. You will work on MCU platforms, AUTOSAR or non-AUTOSAR, and contribute low-level driver code across CAN, UART and SPI interfaces.

Travel and hybrid work are expected as part of a global engineering team. The ideal candidate has ~3 years in C/C++, MCU exposure, RTOS knowledge, and a hands-on approach to tooling and metrics.

Qualifications

• Around 3 years of experience in C/C++ programming.
• Familiar with MCU family such as Renesas RH850, NXP S32K or Cortex-M cores.
• Good knowledge or interest in RTOS and embedded software basics.
• Able to work with engineering metrics and simple dashboards.
• Willing to contribute code, scripts, or tooling as part of daily work.

Responsibilities

• Design and complete Vehicle/IOC software for infotainment systems.
• Develop AUTOSAR/NON-AUTOSAR MCU/IOC software platforms for Telematics.
• Implement low level drivers and peripheral support (UART/SPI/CAN).
• Collaborate with AME and SOC teams to enable EMC testing and EOL fixes.
• Support customers and work with global teams on feature delivery.
