Job summary

ZeroNorth is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to own replication environment setup, configuration, and ongoing development across production and client instances. You will contribute to internal portals and tools using ReactJS, NodeJS, .NET Core, and Python.

The role requires 3–5 years of software development experience with strong REST API skills and expertise in SQL Server. PowerShell scripting for automation is essential, with Python/MongoDB as nice-to-have skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and develop internal programs/utilities/scripts (PowerShell, .NET, Python) to automate and manage replication activities.
• Prepare and optimize complex SQL queries for replication troubleshooting, data validation, and root-cause analysis.
• Configure, setup, and maintain ShipPalm replication for new and existing client environments.
• Perform replication health checks, conflict resolution, node registration, and channel configuration across environments.
• Monitor production replication instances proactively; identify, troubleshoot, and resolve replication issues/support requests within SLA.
• Design, develop, and maintain internal portals/tools using ReactJS, NodeJS, .NET Core, and Python.
• Build and maintain REST APIs to support internal tools, dashboards, and replication management interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews, follow secure coding practices, and maintain high code quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with onboarding, support, and infrastructure teams to ensure timely and accurate client onboarding.

Software Engineer at ZeroNorth

We are looking for a strong, hands-on Software Engineer to own the setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing development of the replication environment across production and client instances, while also contributing to the development of internal portals and tools. This role requires a person who is equally comfortable working deep in databases and building modern web applications (ReactJS, NodeJS, .NET Core).

Your profile:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3–5 years of overall software development experience, with demonstrable hands‑on experience in ReactJS, NodeJS, and .NET Core, and ability to build/consume REST APIs.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation, monitoring, and deployment tasks.
• Strong analytical and debugging mindset — able to independently diagnose replication conflicts, data drift, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks in production environments.
• Working knowledge of Python and MongoDB is a plus; exposure to applying AI tools to improve engineering workflows is a plus.
• Comfortable owning production support responsibilities — calm under pressure, methodical in troubleshooting, and clear in communication during incidents.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with onboarding, support, QA, and infrastructure teams to drive client setup tasks to closure.
• Self-driven and capable of working with minimal supervision; strong ownership mentality from configuration through to custom tooling development.
• Good communication skills — able to document technical processes clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Prior experience supporting or building tools around logistics, shipping, freight, or similar transactional/high-volume data systems is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) for hosting replication or portal infrastructure.
• Exposure to monitoring/alerting tools (e.g., Grafana, App Insights, or similar) for production replication health tracking.
