Dassault Systèmes in Pune is seeking a Software Engineer to design software systems, document technical specifications, and implement new features as described in PES. You will code, compile, and run unit tests, ensuring quality and performance improvements across components.

• Computer Science / IT / E&TC degree required.
• Proficiency in C/C++.
• Python with Data Science & AI experience.
• Strong knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns.

Responsabilités

• Design the software system and describe specifications in technical terms.
• Develop and implement new functionalities described in PES (Product Enhancement Specification).
• Code, compile and run unit tests according to Implement processes and KPIs.
• Improve code quality to meet defined metrics (component/product).
• Regularly review lessons learned and RCA to drive software performance improvements.
• Resolve quality issues and incident reports from Technical Customer Support or QA teams.
• Stay abreast of latest tech (AI/ML, data science) and understand partner requirements.

Design the software system, describing the specifications in technical terms:

Select algorithms, theories or technologies that will be used.

Identify and manage dependencies with other components.

Document these selections in a PES (Product Enhancement Specification Document)

Develop and implement new functionalities described in PES:

Code, compile and run unit tests according to Implement processes and Metrics (KPIs).

Check the progress of dependencies with other components.

Ensure knowledge sharing within the team about the developments.

Improve code quality up to the Last Build, to reach the defined quality metrics (component metrics, product metrics …)

Regularly run lessons learned and RCA to identify areas for code quality or software performances improvement.

Resolve quality issues (backlog management):

resolution of incidents reports (IRs) reported by the Technical Customer Support or by Product QA teams

Keep abreast of the latest technological developments ( such as AI/ML, data science), understand the requirements of our development partners, know about competing products, look ahead for future products, technologies, languages, etc.
