Global Payments is seeking a Software Engineer Senior to join the TRANSAXpay Payments team in Pune, India. You will develop and support real-time transaction-processing systems, translating customer requirements into robust software and helping shape global payments solutions.

You will lead and mentor team members, drive quality through regression testing, and contribute to modernization initiatives as we migrate to cloud-hosted services.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as Technical Lead or Manager
• Proficiency in C, C++, DDL, SQL, and basic IP networking
• Ability to translate requirements into well-structured, bug-free code

Responsabilités

• Develop new functionality in the core TRANSAXpay payments processing platform
• Perform regression testing to ensure new features do not affect existing functionality
• Lead, coach and support other team members as a Team Leader/Manager

What you'll own

• Development of new functionality in our core TRANSAXpay payments processing platform.
• Regression testing of systems to ensure new features do not affect existing functionality.
• Modernization efforts as we migrate from data-center-hosted to cloud-hosted services.
• As a Team Leader/Manager you will provide coaching and support of other team members .

What you'll bring

• 2-5 years of experience as a Technical Lead or Manager, with proficiency in C, C++, DDL, SQL, and basic IP networking.
• The ability to translate requirements into well structured, bug free codes.
• Clear communication skills to effectively work with team members around the world.
• Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking to navigate challenges and resolve issues effectively.
• A proactive, accountable approach - taking ownership, acting early, and delivering great outcomes.
• To act as a mentor for more junior members of the team, engaging in peer reviews of designs and code .
• A genuine interest in Global Payments' products and the wider payments industry, with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of the Payment Card Industry, specifically with EMV and UKCA (APACS) standards.
• Security scans, Snyk, Checkmarx, etc.
