Job summary

Rakuten Symphony in Indore is seeking a Senior Engineer for Cloud who will design, build, and operate scalable backend systems and cloud-native microservices. You will work with Java Spring Boot and Golang to deliver robust, secure solutions in a fast-paced telecom environment.

Ideal candidates have strong distributed systems knowledge, hands-on Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD experience, plus proficiency with Kafka, Redis, and databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• Design and develop high-performance backend microservices.
• Build data-intensive workflows with Kafka/Redis/MySQL-PostgreSQL and REST APIs.
• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and mentorship.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain apps in Kubernetes with Docker and Helm.
• Ensure observability and performance via metrics, logging, tracing.

What Do We Expect From You

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Software Engineer to design, build, and scale high-performance backend systems and microservices. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java and Golang, a deep understanding of distributed systems, and a willingness to explore and adopt new technologies.
