Job summary

Rakuten Symphony is transforming telecom by designing and deploying AI/ML‑driven solutions for autonomous networks that can self-heal, self-optimize, and improve QoS across RAN, Core, IPTX, and Cloud domains.

You will build scalable data pipelines, manage the MLOps lifecycle, and integrate with ONAP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible in a cloud‑native environment. Join a global team pushing rapid innovation in 5G/telecom infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in AI/ML including supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement, and deep learning.
• Hands-on with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, NLP frameworks.
• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink, and MLOps platforms such as MLflow or Kubeflow.
• Deep telecom knowledge including RAN, 4G/5G Core, Cloud, Transport Network.
• Experience with network automation, orchestration, and cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap toward autonomous network operations.
• Build AI/ML models for anomaly detection, fault prediction, traffic optimization, QoS forecasting, and intent-based automation.
• Develop closed-loop systems for self-healing and self-optimizing networks.
• Build scalable data pipelines and manage the end-to-end MLOps lifecycle.
• Integrate solutions with ONAP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible, supported by CI/CD practices.

Job Purpose:

Join the transformation toward autonomous telecom networks. You will design and deploy AI/ML-driven solutions that enable TM Forum Level 4+ closed-loop automation, helping networks detect issues, make decisions, and self-heal across RAN, Core, IPTX, and Cloud domains.

What You'll Own

• Define and execute the roadmap toward autonomous network operations.

What’s Expected?

• Strong experience in AI/ML, including supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement, and deep learning.

• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink, and MLOps platforms such as MLflow or Kubeflow.

Preferred Qualification

• B. Tech in Electronics and Communication.
• Experience: 5-10+ years.
• Experience in and/or knowledge of telecom (5G SA/NSA/EPC/Cloud).
