Job summary

Qualys, Inc is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the QualysSensorPlatform on Windows. You will analyze, design, and code security software, working with a team of engineers to prototype and develop a scalable platform while providing ongoing maintenance and improvements.

You will collaborate with senior engineers and architects to implement features, resolve defects, and apply best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• 1+ year of C++ programming in a Windows environment.
• Knowledge of Windows internals (processes, threads, services, registry, Win32 API).
• Experience with design, prototyping, development, unit tests, and profiling.
• Hands-on with Visual Studio, Git, JIRA, and Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code, and debug security software for the Windows platform.
• Maintain, support, and enhance existing systems and platforms.
• Recommend continuous improvements.
