Job summary

Qualys is seeking a Product Manager for Scanners in India. You will own the product roadmap, collaborate with customers, sales, support, and engineers, and drive feature decisions with data-driven insights.

Strong background in cybersecurity and 5+ years in product management are required, with expertise across cloud platforms, databases, and scalable documentation. Flexible hours support teams across geographies.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/MCA in Computer Science or related field.
• Cybersecurity knowledge in Compliance Audits, Vulnerability Management, and Attack Surface Management.
• 5+ years PM experience and/or relevant cybersecurity certifications.
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.
• Experience with databases, web servers and operating systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/PM methodologies and clear technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Role: Product Manager - Scanners

Responsibilities

• Own and drive product roadmap for Qualys scanners by collaborating with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with customers, sales, and support team to answer technical client questions.
• Partner with sales to help explain and demonstrate the use cases of the software to customers.
• Gather insights into industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for new features or enhancements.
• Identify success metrics for new product features or updates.
• Measure feature adoption, customer retention, and conversion rates
• Work closely with other Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to align insights into product goals.
• Build best practices guide and technical documentation for training materials, technical marketing collateral, manuals, troubleshooting guides, etc.
• Open to work in flexible hours to support internal teams and customers in different geographies.

Technical Skills

• Educational Qualification: BE/BTech/MCA in Computer Science or a related field.
• Cybersecurity Knowledge: Good understanding and interest in Cybersecurity domains such as Compliance Audits, Vulnerability Management, and Attack Surface Management.
• Certifications & Experience: Prior product management experience (5+ years) and/or relevant cybersecurity certifications are mandatory.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in working with diverse technologies, including Operating Systems, Web Servers, Network Devices, Databases, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Documentation Skills: Ability to create clear, concise, and well-structured technical documentation.
• Software Engineering & Project Management: Familiarity with Software Engineering Concepts and Agile/Project Management methodologies.
