Job summary

Altera Digital Health in Pune is seeking a software developer with 2-4 years of experience in .NET, C#, Angular, and SQL Server to design, develop and test applications.

You will be part of a Scrum team, contribute to code reviews, document technical guides, and help troubleshoot issues while collaborating with remote teams in India and the US.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of working experience in .NET and C#.
• 2-4 years of Angular development.
• 2 years of working experience in ASP.NET Core / .NET Core Web APIs and Angular.
• 2 years of working experience in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of .NET fundamentals and SQL Server.
• Experience with SOA and WebAPIs.
• Knowledge of design patterns and OO design.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication; SDLC understanding.
• Experience with TFS and GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Gain product knowledge in the initial 4-5 months.
• Contribute to feature development and bug fixes under Senior team member's guidance.
• Participate in code reviews and preparing technical guides/documentation.
• Active participation in troubleshooting issues and assisting other teams.

Job description

The purpose of this role is to understand requirements/business cases/user stories and apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to design, develop and test the application meeting the acceptance criteria. This involves understanding and applying one or more software or scripting language. This may involve developing new applications or enhancing and maintaining existing applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains coding standards
• Contributes to supporting technical and installation documentation for internal and external publication as appropriate
• Achieves productivity targets to ensure deliverables are met within budget, on schedule and defined quality standards
• Completes all necessary software and non-software components in the timelines as defined by the Scrum Team/Project Manager
• Produces technical specifications, code and/or unit test plans in line with the traceability matrix/functional specification
• Suggests improvement to established processes
• Generates estimates and asks appropriate questions to derive better estimates
• Comes up with proof of concepts for new ideas or complex solutions
