Job summary

HARP is seeking a seasoned Mainframe Developer for our IT team in Pune. You will develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications leveraging COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and IBM DB2, while following SDLC processes and ensuring quality.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to documentation and continuous improvement in a production environment. 5–8 years of relevant experience required.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Mainframe technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience in COBOL.
• Hands-on experience in JCL.
• Experience working with VSAM.
• Experience in IBM DB2 development and testing.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Good project quality knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and IBM DB2.
