Job summary
Solifi is seeking an innovative and dedicated UI Software Engineer in our development team. The successful candidate will design and implement solutions to business requirements for our ABL and Factoring products.
This position involves development with the US and India teams, with a focus on delivering robust UI and REST API enhancements, while modernizing the application architecture and technologies.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Angular, MS .NET Framework, VB.NET or C#, PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Windows Servers, IIS, PowerShell, GitLab.
- Knowledgeable in computer networking, web protocols, Windows system engineering, AWS Cloud, Terraform.
- Development knowledge of financial and accounting systems.

You will be working primarily with a development team in US and India, and QA team in India.
Solifi is seeking an innovative and dedicated UI Software Engineer in our development team. The successful candidate will design and implement solutions to business requirements for our ABL and Factoring products. We’re looking for someone with a strong technical skills and a solid problem-solving aptitude, an excellent communicator, and a willing team-player; excited about giving their best every day. This position involves development specific to customer requests and market requirements.
Work with development and QA team in India in conjunction with US-based team.
Develop new UI for ABL and Factoring products.
Create new and extend system REST API.
Modernize application’s architecture and technologies.
Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
Collaborate with other software developers, PO, SM and software architects to plan, design, develop, test.
Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties. Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time.
- Product Development
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skill.
- Deep understanding of current and emerging web, cloud and secure system architecture.
- Day-to-day development using MS Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code, Angular, VB.NET, PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS, TypeScript.
- Knowledgeable with Windows Servers, GitLab, AWS, and Terraform is a plus.
- Possess knowledge of and experience in building financial systems.
- Should have a good exposure on how and best ways to improve the performance of the system.
- Ability to pay strong attention to details.
- Ability to function in a high pressure and demanding environment.
- Support team development efforts towards successful project delivery.

- Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
- Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software. Design, develop, and test applications in accordance with established standards.
- Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code. Package and support deployment of releases.
- Work with teammates in the migration of legacy applications to current software technologies. Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.
