Job summary

日本アバカス株式会社 is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. The role sits between Associate and Senior levels and requires a solid foundation in software engineering and production-ready applications.

The successful candidate will develop and maintain web applications using React for the front end, .NET C# Web API for the back end, and SQL for database management. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in .NET C#, ASP.NET Core/Web API, React, and SQL.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web development concepts.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, source control (Git), SDLC, data structures and algorithms, and relational database design.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex application issues.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Understanding of software security principles and secure coding practices.
• Ability to analyze requirements and develop scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using React, .NET C# Web API, and SQL.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Develop and optimize database queries and contribute to database design and performance improvements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and application issues.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
