Job summary

Riskonnect, Inc. in Bengaluru seeks an experienced .NET engineer to join our core development team. You will work with C# and .NET 8, contribute to UI with WPF, and collaborate with AI-assisted development tools to deliver robust software.

The ideal candidate has 5–6 years of hands-on experience, a strong testing mindset, and a knack for clean architecture, DI, async code, and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with C# and modern .NET (.NET 8).
• Preferred experience with WPF and any other .NET UI frameworks
• Deep understanding of Dependency Injection, Asynchronous programming (async/await), Exception handling and resilience patterns
• SOLID principles and clean architecture
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Copilot, etc.)
• Testing & Quality Engineering
• Strong experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest)
• Ability to design meaningful tests beyond “happy path” scenarios
• Familiarity with mocking frameworks
• Codebase Comprehension
• Proven ability to quickly understand large, unfamiliar codebases
• Comfortable working with AI-generated code and improving it where needed
• Ability to reason about intent vs. implementation
• Preferred experience modernizing or replacing legacy enterprise applications
