Job summary

GE Power Conversion India Private Limited is seeking a software professional to design, build, deliver, and maintain software apps and services across machine, cloud, platform, and/or application domains. You will work within an Agile/Lean environment, focus on performance, security, and scalable code, and contribute to documentation and testing practices.

Qualifications

Job Description Summary

Responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications & services. Working in the areas of machine, cloud, platform and/or application. Responsible for software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures and implementation.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Have awareness of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.
• Ability to write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
• Understand performance parameters and can assess application performance.
• Understand core data structures and algorithms and has the ability to implement them using language of choice.
• Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from reputed College/University, with 3 to 5 Years Experience.

Desired Characteristics

Technical Expertise: Prior Experience in technologies such as C#, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS. Working experience in frameworks like React and Angular Experience in Powershell/Networking/ Windows Experience in cyber software development is an added advantage Exposure to CIS Benchmarks, Trellix, Acronis, Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and IEC 62443 standards for OT/Industrial cybersecurity is an added advantage. Experience with Relational database like SQL Server or PostgreSQL Knowledge on Vulnerabilities and SSDLC. Prior work experience in an agile environment, or introductory training on Lean/Agile. Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI). General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development life cycle.
