Job summary

Salesforce.com India Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a Software DevOps Engineer to advance our cloud infrastructure and back-end platforms. You will work on highly available systems, implement automation and IaC, and help scale our distributed services across AWS, GCP, and other clouds.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of backend development experience, strong knowledge of Terraform and Kubernetes, and a practical mindset for live-site reliability, monitoring, and incident response.

Qualifications

• 3+ years backend software development experience.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, or Spinnaker.
• Experience owning and operating multiple instances of a critical service.
• Experience with Agile development methodology and Test Driven Development.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, logging, and reporting applications.
• Public Cloud experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cloud infrastructure automation tools, frameworks, workflows, and validation platforms on our public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or Alibaba.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
• Resolving complex technical issues and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience, and performance.
• Eat, sleep, and breathe services. Balance live-site management with feature delivery and retirement of technical debt.
• Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available.
