Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced test automation engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based frameworks.

You will build Selenium-driven coverage, implement parallel execution, and create reusable libraries for teams across REST/SOAP API testing and AI-driven tooling. Candidate will apply OOP, Page Object Model, and design patterns, while integrating with CI/CD using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, and contributing to code quality dashboards and AI-assisted

Qualifications

• Extensive background in test automation engineering
• Deep expertise in Java, Selenium, and test automation framework design
• Strong foundation in OOP and design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, Decorator
• Practical knowledge of Page Object Model and Page Factory
• Hands-on skills in API automation for REST and SOAP services
• Proven proficiency with CI/CD and DevOps integration using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Ability to set up static code analysis, quality gates, and automation reporting dashboards
• Direct experience with Large Language Models such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Cursor
• Working understanding of Prompt Engineering, Context Window Management, and Tokenization
• Familiarity with embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search use cases
• Exposure to AI agents and AI-assisted engineering with tools such as OpenAI Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms including Basic Authentication, Bearer Tokens, OAuth, and NTLM
• Manage sessions and execute API integration testing effectively
• Conduct code reviews and uphold clean coding standards
• Establish and govern coding standards, branching strategies, and version control best practices
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Design and implement AI-driven solutions for automated test case generation, test script generation, and code reviews
